The Tour of Britain is Coming!

Those of you who are local may have noticed a splash of colour and a number of decorated bikes brightening the streets of Berwick-upon-

Tweed of late. This comes ahead of the town hosting the start of the third leg of this years Tour of Britain on September 9th. The prestigious race will begin in Berwick's town centre and will see cyclists follow parts of the Northumberland Coast through Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty before winding up in Newcastle city centre for a spectacular uphill finish.

To celebrate, Northern Edge are extending special offers to cyclists from now until September 9th. Simply cycle to our roastery shop or The Northern Edge Coffee Bar to get a tasty discount on hot drinks or any of your take home favourite blends.

As part of the Tour festivities, you can also find us on Berwick Quayside on the day of the event where there will be a special market to celebrate all things Berwick and beyond! The market will begin at 9am and run until the race end at around 4pm. Stop by and say hello - we'll be serving up hot brews to keep you fuelled throughout the race as well as bags of coffee to take home.
